The BHW70-8 is a 70-ton super-heavy-duty diesel wheeled material handler, the largest and most powerful model in the entire series, powered by a Cummins QSM11-C335 diesel engine with 250 kW rated power (2000 rpm) and 274 kW operating power (1800 rpm), with a 680 L fuel tank. It offers exceptional power reserves, engineered for heavy-duty bulk material handling in the largest-scale work environments.

The hydraulic system features dual-pump confluence with a maximum flow of 2×380 L/min and 32 MPa operating pressure, with a 600 L hydraulic oil tank ensuring smooth compound movements, strong gripping force, and reliable, stable operation. The swing system delivers a maximum speed of 5.31 r/min for steady, efficient heavy-duty cycles.

The wheeled undercarriage features a two-speed travel system: first gear at 3.0 km/h for powerful heavy-load tractive effort, and second gear at 9.5 km/h for on-site relocation, with 32% gradeability. Equipped with a 5-tine semi-closed orange peel grab of 0.8 m³ capacity with 360° rotation, a 12,500 mm boom and 9,500 mm stick, the extended boom delivers an unprecedented working envelope — maximum grabbing reach of 21,342 mm, height of 17,348 mm, and depth of 11,164 mm — all the largest in the entire series, with exceptional deep-grabbing capability especially suited for ship unloading.
