The WZYS56-9 is a 48-ton super-heavy-duty dual-power tracked material handler, the dual-power flagship of the series, integrating both a diesel engine and a three-phase electric motor for flexible switching between operating modes. In diesel mode, a 194 kW engine (2200 rpm rated / 2000 rpm operating) with a 485 L fuel tank delivers mobile heavy-duty performance for off-grid, outdoor operation. In electric mode, a 160 kW motor (380V / 50Hz, 1485 rpm) provides zero emissions, low noise, and low operating cost for indoor and fixed-station work. One machine, two power sources — balancing mobility and economy.

The hydraulic system features dual-pump confluence with a maximum flow of 2×280 L/min in diesel mode and 2×267 L/min in electric mode, at 32 MPa operating pressure. Hydraulic pilot control ensures smooth compound movements and strong gripping force, while the substantial 565 L hydraulic oil tank fully maintains thermal balance for sustained heavy-duty stability.

The tracked undercarriage offers a ground pressure of 0.094 MPa, excellent mobility, and 290 kN maximum traction, with travel speeds of 3.1 / 5.1 km/h (diesel) and 3.0 / 5.0 km/h (electric). Two boom configurations — 8,600 mm and 9,000 mm — are available, both paired with a 6,500 mm stick. A 5-tine semi-closed orange peel grab is offered in 1.0 m³ and 1.2 m³ capacities. Maximum grabbing reach: 16,099 / 16,546 mm; height: 13,504 / 13,949 mm; depth: 7,717 / 7,867 mm.
