Introduction

The WZY18-8 is an 18-ton tracked material handler powered by a Cummins QSF3.8T3 diesel engine, delivering 91 kW at 1750 rpm with a 210 L fuel tank for extended continuous operation.

Its hydraulic system features dual-pump confluence with a maximum flow of 2×140 L/min and 30 MPa operating pressure. Hydraulic pilot control ensures precise, responsive operation, while the 216 L hydraulic oil tank maintains thermal stability.

Performance highlights include a 13.5 rpm slewing speed, 3.4 km/h travel speed, and a fast 13–15 s working cycle. Equipped with a 5-tine semi-closed orange peel grab (0.6 m³), it offers a maximum grabbing reach of 10,280 mm, height of 8,170 mm, and depth of 4,680 mm — ideal for handling scrap metal, bulk materials, and municipal waste.
